Q: QuestionSome earlier DVR's have only one or two dedicated channels with audio. Do all 12 channels within this DVR utilize audio and are all 8 cameras in this package equipped with 2 way audio microphones? Thank you.

• A:Answer Thank you for the question and happy to help. Our systems fully include audio capability and 2 way audio if advertised with the feature. Of note with this system is that 8 cameras are wired with 2 way audio and you have 4 channels that you can add via Wi-Fi compatible cameras. Q: QuestionI do NOT have a smartphone. I do have a laptop with windows 10, a router for internet connectivity, and a TV set. I am looking to set up 3 security cameras indoors. Can I set this system up with no smartphone? You have other systems that will work here?

• A:Answer Thank you for the question and happy to help. Yes, with this wired system you are able to setup without a mobile device. Bluetooth is to leverage the mobile app and assist with setup but it is not required. You can also hook up the recorder directly to your TV if there is HDMI input. Q: QuestionCan I combine 1 way camera with a 2 way cameras.? I already have a 1 way nigh owl cameras which is working perfectly for me. However, am thinking of just buying only the 2 way cameras to add to it so that I can hear the sound. How does that work?

It is difficult to ensure compatibility without specific model info but in general if you have a new recorder with 2-way audio, you are welcome to add compatible cameras without 2-way audio. They just don't have the ability to provide 2-way audio functionality, but will still record. The tech is on both sides, recorder and camera. Hope this helps. If you do not use the mobile application you are able to use the 2-Way audio but you would need to connect the wired microphone to the recorder and be at the recorder to speak/listen to audio.
