This system includes the DVR recorder with 1TB HD that will maintain all of your footage. We also offer cameras that can act as stand alone (no recorder needed) but would require either microSD storage or cloud based storage (for a fee) to maintain recordings.

You can control this via the system settings. Depending on your settings the system will overwrite legacy data as it maintains current footage.

A:AnswerYou have a number of options to select from that will impact how long you can record. Motion activated record vs continuous record is the most impactful. Clips can be exported for safe keeping and to ensure any new recordings don't cause you to lose key footage. We advise exporting key moments via USB drive that can be attached to the recorder for safe keeping.
On continuous record you should expect 7+ days while with motion only record you will get much more time before the storage begins over old footage.

A:AnswerFor the cabling you have installed you will want to look to a NVR recorder system vs a DVR recorder system. We have several available in the market. They will allow you to run your video/audio and power all through the existing cabling you have installed.
