Maximum Extension Distance: The maximum recommended distance per camera is 180 feet using Night Owl-approved BNC extension cables with a built-in amplifier (also called “video power balun” cables). Without an amplifier, the signal may degrade after about 100 feet, especially for 4K video. Important Tips: Always use high-quality, shielded extension cables rated for 4K to maintain video quality.
