“This says its 12 Channels but the photo of the back of the DVR only shows 8 plugs. Where do extra cameras (if I decide to purchase more) get plugged into?”

Thank you for the question any happy to help. This system is a 12 channel (8+4) recorder. 8 wired connections are available with 4 more via Wi-Fi connection. Best Buy doesn't allow for the text we typically include on imagery so we apologize for the confusion as we would normally clarify on the corresponding image.
