“I have nightowl pt2 161 wired 16 channel 8 camera 1-TB. How can I delete HDD1 storage back to 900GB. The free size shows 425GB now. I have mouse with menu at bottom left corner of monitor. After storage been deleted do I need to reboot system.”

Please refer to the product manual for this system which covers how to reformat the hard drive. Essentially, you just need to reformat the HDD to delete recordings. If set to default, the system is set to auto overwrite and will automatically overwrite old recordings to make room for new ones.
