It is set up to use your smart phone or tablet with the appropriate WiFi package to be able to be Truely wireless. It has the ability to record activities on up to 4 cameras and if you have the appropriate WiFi and data package to be able to view live in real time depending on how you configure the cameras - I use motion to trigger my system to record the activity. And the recorded activities are viewable on you phone or tablet when you need it. Mine is set up to plug into a u-verse type router. My guess is there could be a 3 or 4 party offering that might allow what you are seeking - but that is why this system is best used as a stand alone, no monthly cost, monitoring system with the ability to record the activities onto the included SD card- hope this helps!
