Good Afternoon. With all 4 cameras connected, the hard drive has a total recording time of roughly 1600 hours. Once the hard drive becomes full, it will automatically begin overwriting old footage. With your system set to continuous record, that is how your recordings will display. In order to maximize your hard drives space, we recommend using the default setting of Motion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told by the salesman that this system will record 365 / 24/7. He stated that at that time it will then re record over itself. It's supposed to be less maintenance involved...especially with the wireless cameras needing charged. I have mine set up for movement and it records before the movement and after the movement as well.
