“Why does the dvr have to be connected to a router? How much internet does it use? does it use internet to transfer data from the cameras to the dvr or Does it just use internet whenever I stream from the app. Thanks”

• You do not have to connect the NVR to a router. You can locally view the system on a TV or monitor using the included HDMI cable. Internet is only required if you want to remotely view the system on a smart device or computer and to receive Firmware updates. Thank you!
