Most Night Owl DVR/NVRs can accommodate larger hard drives. This particular NVR can hold up to a 6TB internal SATA HDD, 2.5" or 3.5". The HDD should have a minimum of 7200 RPM. We are not able to guarantee compatibility with external hard drives at this time. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
