“How much Mb does the internet velocity has to be for it to function properly? (For cable wired cameras) can a 8mb internet velocity be okay so that I may see it from any mobile device? Will it affect the quality of the image?”

It should work, but it will be incredibly slow. The faster the connection on both ends ( DVR & remote viewing device) the better it will be. There are 2 settings for the quality, low quality but smoother video, and higher quality but choppier viewing. This is only for the remote viewing. When downloading video it should all be the same quality. Also, downloading video from remote device will be slow if not possible on that slow of a connection. I would just not count on being able to remotely view them if you're on a connection that slow. Great cameras though.
