- Answer Good Afternoon. This is a 16 Channel DVR with a 1 TB HDD. It is a standalone DVR, and does not come equipped with any cameras. You can pick and choose Night Owl cameras to add. It is compatible with our analog, 720p, 1080p and 3MP cameras. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

QuestionOnce hard wired cameras are connected to the Night Owl can the connection from this DVR to the monitor or other viewing source be made wireless or Bluetooth compatible?

- Answer Once you have connected all your cameras to your DVR, you will need to connect the DVR through an HDMI cable to your monitor/TV to be able to view them. You will also be able to view your cameras remotely through your smart device by downloading the specific application for the system. Thank you for choosing Night Owl.

- Answer We not able to guarantee compatibility with 3rd party products. This DVR records to a pre-installed HDD. If you wish to remotely view the system on a Smart Device (smartphone or tablet) you will need to have the DVR connected to your router or modem. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

- Answer No. This DVR is not compatible with our wireless cameras. We do sell some Hybrid solutions that are compatible with both wired and wireless cameras. QuestionI am looking for a DVR replacement in an existing 8-channel Night Owl system. Will this model support the existing cameras and connections from Model NVR10-882? Cameras are connected to the current DVR by Ethernet, not BNC.

- Answer Night Owl's DVRs/NVRs can accommodate up to a 6TB hard drive. Our DVRs are compatible with internal SATA HDD's, 2.5" or 3.5". The HDD should have a minimum of 7200 RPM. We are not able to guarantee compatibility with external hard drives at this time. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
