You can both have remote access to the camera feed using the Night Owl Protect app. Here’s how it works: The camera is managed through the Night Owl Protect mobile app (iOS and Android). One person sets up the camera using their email account. That primary account can then share access with additional users, each using their own email login. Once invited, both of you can view the live feed, receive alerts, and use features like pan/tilt and 2-way audio from your own phones. So you do not need to share one login. Each of you can have separate access through the app.

    • Answer Yes, you can. This plug-in Wi-Fi camera can be added to an existing Night Owl Wi-Fi Recorder or Hub system or used as a standalone camera with the Night Owl Protect app. If used standalone, you will need either a microSD card (local storage) or a cloud plan for recording and playback. Just make sure your system still has available channel capacity if you plan to add it to a recorder.
