That is why we always advocate for the best solution to be our CCTV based wired DVR or NVR systems. Our Wi-Fi based NVR systems can include solar, battery, or A/C powered Wi-Fi cams, but they all connect to the recorders built-in Wi-Fi network, not your home network and internet. For this camera, you could leverage the MicroSD card and remove the wi-fi access, but that would also remove app activity notifications, battery level minders, etc. Please let us know if you have any other questions. However, these cameras are not compatible with 5G cellular networks (like those used by mobile phones for internet access). They require a Wi‑Fi connection from a router and cannot connect directly to mobile 5G data.
