No, it would not record 24 hours continuously. It has options to record at 20 and 60sec intervals. The microSD card I used was 16gb (14.7 installed) and used only 1.5gb in a week's time with over 300 notifications/recordings of about 20-60sec each.

You can select event based recording or 24/7 continuous recording. The size of the MicroSD card you employ will determine longevity of recording records before of over-write.
