No. The Nikon D50 DSLR DX-format camera is not compatible with Nikon AF-P type lenses. For fully compatible lenses for this camera model check out AF-S type lenses such as the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5 -5.6G ED VR Standard Zoom or the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom.
