Andy, I don't believe it is supported, my camera is a D-3400, and the 70-300 lens was in a bundle for this camera. I did look at the user manual for the lens and it showed that the 3300 would not support this lens. Hope this was helpful. Good Shooting Hoppy

A new version for Distortion Control Data is also now available for the D3300; Ver.2.015.
