“I have Nikon lens AF-P i and now have a AF-S lens. Do i have to change the camera shooting menu on the camera to AF-S”

• No! You are confused by the terminology. The “S” on AF-S lenses refer to Silent motor focus. This is completely different than the camera setting for auto focus. In this case AF-S means single focus compared to AF-C meaning continual focus.
