No, the AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens will not work on the Nikon D60 or the D5100. The AF-P type lenses use a new type of electromagnetic focusing system that the D60 and D5100 cannot communicate with. Both the D60 and D5100 will be compatible with AF-S type lenses.

The lens works on my Nikon D5 but doesn't work on my D750 or my D300.
