Yes, the AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR Lens (20062) is compatible with the D7100 with both autofocus and manual focus available. However, since this lens does not have a VR ON/OFF switch, VR (Vibration Reduction) will default to ON when used with this camera. In addition, the focus ring on the lens cannot be disabled when using the autofocus mode on this camera; the lens can be manually focused by using the focus ring. Updating the D7100's firmware to the most recent version is recommended.
