No. The Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED lens will not work with the Nikon D90 DSLR camera as AF-P type lenses are not compatible with this camera body. Fully compatible lens types for the Nikon D90 are AF-S and AF-type lenses. AI-type lenses can also be used but will need a light meter for metering exposure.

Please try again later.No, according to information direct from Nikon itself (Their own lens compatibility chart in PDF format) this lens and all AF-P designated lenses are completely incompatible with Nikon D90 cameras. In fact there is a rather small list of more recent DX format camera that these lenses have any functionality with at all so be sure to always check before buying for use with a older camera if uncertain.
