Does this lens fit on a D3100? null

While the Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR Telephoto Zoom lens is able to be mounted on the Nikon D3100 DSLR camera, it will not work as AF-P type lenses are not compatible with this model of camera. Compatible lenses for the Nikon D3100 are AF-S and E-type lenses. AF-type lenses can also be used but will need to be manually focused.
