The AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED lens is a great lens to add to your equipment bag and will give you a wide angle, however, there is a crop factor that occurs when you use DX lenses with FX cameras. You may want to look into something like the AF-S NIKKOR 28mm f/1.8G Wide-Angle Lens to get a full range of the wide-angle feature you are interested in.
