“Will this lens work on a D7100 or D7200 and would it work well for taking wedding picture inside and out. I was told it would be the best one to have what would be your recommendation??”

Yes, I have used the len since July and I love it. I agree with the recommendation that was given to you it would be a good len for that. The pictures are great you will be very please with the lens.

Both of those nikons are excellent and provide a good ISO range. Inside is a bit tricky though. The lens is fantastic but it's only a 3.5 - 5.6. Not the best for low light. If you have a separate flash you'll be ok. I personally love this lens for the convenience and use it all of the time as it was in my price range but there is definitely sharper glass out there, if the funds permit. Enjoy!
