• The lens hood is laughable. It's tiny and cheap. Most likely with an f1.8 you will be shooting mainly in low light conditions which preclude the need for the hood.

• It is correct. It just comes with a small 52mm hood. Not the petal shaped kind but the full circumference kind

• It comes with a plastic bayonet mount hood that can be reversed for storage.
