I've used this in a gym before and my pictures still turn out great. You just have to adjust your settings for the lighting.

Please try again later.You would have to set your ISO to a much higher setting indoors in order to get the necessary shutter speed to freeze motion - and take sharp images. The lens is a good lens. At 200mm, however, the fastest aperture you can obtain will be f/5.6 so you will definitely need to shoot at an iso of 1600 or higher.
