• No, the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens isn't compatible with the AF-S TC-17E II 1.7x Teleconverter from Nikon. In general wide angle lenses or wide angle zoom lenses cannot be used with teleconverters.
