QuestionI see that there is a Superlapse function, would I be able to shoot for more than 29 minutes while trying to create a timelapse video?

- Answer The Superlapse function on the COOLPIX A900 records fast motion movies and records them in 1080/30p resolution. PAL standard will allow for recording in 25p. You will be able to select 5 different playback speeds, from 2x to 15x are your options. The movie recording time cannot exceed 29 minutes.

QuestionConcerning the 4K video recording. Will the 4k file play on all devices 720/1080p currently play? I have a 4k TV. Will I see an improved, higher def video clip? Reason I ask is the AV Resolution indicates only one resolution...ie 3840 x 2160. Thank you

- Answer The camera can create movies with resolutions up to 2160/30p. If you have 4k source material to watch in that resolution, you should see an improved video. If you don't have a 4K source video, the 4k TV can still make your movies look better since 4k televisions use some type of upconverter to display 1080p and lower resolution video.

QuestionI see that you can you record 29 min of video but is that in the 4k mode or just the HD? Can you record more video if you have a bigger memory card or is it only limited to 4 gigs in 4K video mode I cant find a users manual to download on the Nikon site.

- Answer The single movie file size limit for recording video, whether that is 4k or Full HD, is 4GB. A great capacity memory card would not enable to record a longer video. It will just allow you to record more 4-GB sized videos. We will confirm the recording time or 29 minutes, regardless of recording mode used. We have confirmed that the 4GB limit is reached prior to 29 minutes. The 29 minute record time if for Full HD and not 4K.

QuestionHow do I remove the date stamp temporarily when taking pics. Sometimes I want the date imprinted but sometimes I need them to be free of date stamp.

- Answer You can change the date and time stamp option on the Nikon COOLPIX A900 digital camera by pressing the Menu button. This will give you 3 options; "Date" (stamps a date on the image), "Date and time" (stamps a date and time on the image) and "Off" (no stamp is placed on the image). You can change it to "Off" by selecting the "Off" option and then pressing the "OK" button. When you are ready to switch back just go back to that feature in the menu and choose another option before pressing the "OK" button. Stamped dates form a permanent part of image data and cannot be deleted. The date cannot be stamped on images after they have been captured.
