• Regardless of the size - or speed - of the card that you have in the camera - 29 minutes it the longest video you will be able take continuously.

• I tried the video but not to the extent of wearing a battery down. I did find that this camera does not "eat" batteries like some of the other Nikon products. I was able to take about 800 pictures on a single battery life (I bought 4 extra batteries due to the experience of Nikon cameras, but 2 would have been fine).
