“Just got the camera today and find it easy to understand so far. The only thing I can't find is the meter that tells what number the pictures are as I take them and how many pictures I have left to take based on the image size and card memory.”

Download and read the manual! short version: press the "DISP" button, info on bottom right tells number of minutes of recording time remaining/number of images left on card.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To see the file number of each image make sure to display camera image information on the Nikon COOLPIX B700 monitor. Press the Playback button and you will see the file number in the lower left corner of each image. To see a countdown of how much file space you have, make sure camera image information is set to show on your shooting screen and look in the lower right corner. This counter will go down as you take each image and how much space it will take for each image will depend on the image size you are using to take an picture.
