• The Nikon COOLPIX P900 is compatible with a 67mm Circular Polarizer lens filter. It is used to reduce reflections from both glass and water and enhances the color of blue in sky photography.

• I was able to purchase a UV filter for my P900, doing so mainly to protect the lens. I saw a polarizer available as well in the same size. Would it be a good thing to do? As I fisherman who uses polarized sunglasses, I'd say "yes" especially if taking pictures near the water. I hope that helps.

• I have been researching and was told by a veteran photographer to get a polarizing lens to cut the heatwaves and distortion caused by atmosphere. I found that a 67mm filter will fit the camera.

• You can use a circular polarizer 67mm size. However you can achieve the same results with your exposure and in manual mode
