- Answer No. The Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera does not have enough zoom range to get a clear and precise image of Jupiter. At most this camera has a reach of approximately 8,000mm in 35mm (135) format when digital zoom is set at 4x (86x total range). - Answer If the shutter-release button is pressed all the way while recording a movie, one frame is saved as a still image. Movie recording continues while the still image is being saved. The size of the image will be determined by the image size of the movie option selected.

QuestionWhen taking pictures of my sons playing baseball, and the P900 (and other models) tries to focus on the backstop fencing instead of the player beyond the fence. Is there a "please ignore the fence" feature?! Ideas to get around this are appreciated.

- Answer change aperture to a lower setting or zoom passed the fence completely, sports setting have ideal shutter speeds and focus but are underexposed in night games, if they are night games adjust the EXP!

QuestionJust bought this camera. Had a Patriot MicroSD Adapter Memory which I was using in a Canon Camera. I was trying to format the memory card as stated in the manual. Why is red light flashing on my screen when starting to take a photo?

- Answer This is a HOT item! I checked BestBuy every day for 3 weeks until I got lucky. The next day, they were gone. Nikon used to let a customer backorder one; they removed that choice in mid September.
