• The camera comes with the charging AC Adapter EH-71P. You can connect the camera, via USB to your computer to charge it. You must set the camera in the camera's setup menu to CHARGE BY COMPUTER to do this. You can, in addition, plug the USB cable into the AC ADAPTER and charge it via a wall outlet.

• The camera comes with an ac charger that connects with a usb. You can unplug the usb and connect it directly to the PC, so yes, you can charge with USB if you prefer.
