QuestionMy Nikon Coolpix s6300 broke. Which cool pix cameras are available that could most closely replace it? I haven't seen any available with the 10X zoom. Zoom and Rechargeable battery is a must. I take both outside and inside, still and action picts. Thanks!

- Answer If you want something that is as compact as the the Nikon COOLPIX S6300 there is the Nikon COOLPIX S7000 digital camera, which offers 16.0 megapixels, 6400 maximum ISO and 20x in lens zoom power. Other point-and-shoot cameras that you may be interested in are the Nikon COOLPIX B700 and the Nikon COOLPIX P900 as they each have a PSAM mode dial for more manual control of camera settings and a higher zoom capability; the Nikon B700 offers up 60x in lens zoom power while the Nikon P900 offers up an amazing 83x zoom. QuestionIs there a way to turn the flash off? Every time I power off the camera and turn it back on, the flash automatically comes back as auto flash setting.

- Answer The Nikon COOLPIX S3700 digital camera has two auto function modes. One is called "Auto" mode. The other is called "Scene Auto Selector" mode. The flash will set back to the default setting of "auto" when the camera is turned off while in the "Scene Auto Selector" mode. This will allow the flash to fire whenever it is needed for a selected scene mode the next time it is turned on. When the camera is in "Auto" mode the flash will remain in the selected flash option even when it is turned off and then back on again. To keep the flash from firing place the camera in the "Auto" mode and turn flash to the "Off" option. To learn more about this camera please contact Nikon Support.

- Answer This is a digital camera so it has no film to develop! You print the pics from your computer to your printer or send them electronically to a store or company online and order prints.

- Answer The Nikon COOLPIX S3700 digital camera does have a Date Stamp option which can place "Date" or "Date and Time" on the image. Once you have set it to "On" it will automatically imprint any images you take with the camera's current "Date" or "Date and Time" until you turn the feature off. Imprinted dates form a permanent part of image data and cannot be deleted. The date and time cannot be imprinted on images after they have been captured.

- Answer Yes - simply select the flash icon. Flash will work in sunlight in this mode. I've used it in the shade on a sunny day - just to brighten up the faces.
