• The Nikon COOLPIX S9900 digital camera does have an ability to take images while recording a video. Image size is varied and depends on what Movie Options you have the camera set to at the time of recording. Movie recording continues while the still image is being saved. An approved memory card with a speed class rating of 6 or higher is recommended for use with this camera for recording movies. Check with the Quick Start Guide provided with the camera to see a list of approved memory cards.
