“Trying to decide between this and the Go Pro. Would like to shoot both photos and video without worry of dropping device into water and ruining it. Can anyone help me compare the two as in quality of image/video/stability,etc? Thank you!”

The Coolpix is fully submersible to 10m for up to an hour so no worry with it getting wet. I have only used it for 2 snorkeling trips so far but the pictures are very clear & colors are good. I have not tried video.
