The Nikon D3300 and Nikon D3400 are both good choices for beginners as each's offers an on-camera guide mode. This mode actually teaches you how to take a great image and will let you know what options are best for each subject. An advantage that the Nikon D3400 has over the D3300 is that it offers Bluetooth connectivity to any compatible smart device running the Snapbridge app, so images can transferred effortlessly. The D3300 has WiFi but needs an optional WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter accessory to transfer images to a compatible smart device. Both these cameras offer 11 autofocus points and 5 frames per second for continuous shooting as well as a built-in monaural microphone with adjustable sensitivity for perfect audio quality. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Jump to the D5300 instead. Same pricing, and a much better camera. Avoid the 18-55mm lens - it is horrible. 70-300mm is very good.
