• Because I use the video at 1080, I prefer SanDisk 32 gigs or more. I can also enjoy raw image storage on the larger cards.

• Tested and approved SanDisk memory cards for the Nikon D5500 are 2 GB SD; 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB SDHC; and 64 GB and 128 GB SDXC. Other approved cards can be found in the manual provided in the box with the camera.
