• The Nikon D7100 DSLR camera has a built-in focus motor which means you can use both AF and AF-S lenses on this model camera. If any of the lenses you used with the Nikon D5100 DSLR camera were AF or AF-S type lenses you should have no trouble using them with the Nikon D7100.
