The D7100 has a faster frame rate, larger, higher resolution LCD, has almost twice the battery life of the D3200, much better high ISO capability. The D3200 REQUIRES AF-S type lenses in order to obtain Autofocus. The D7100 does not. For the aforementioned reasons, the D7100 is a far superior camera to the D3200.
