• In addition to the other cards posted, as of December 2020 you can also use the CFExpress cards such as those by Sandisk. Here is the catch: you need to upgrade to the D850 to the firmware that came out in December. It's on the Nikon support site. Go for version 1.20 (or higher) https://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/products/359/D850.html

• You can purchase a SD UHSII, or a XQD as they can hold both at the same time.
