Q: QuestionWill it fit the Tamron lenses for Nikon camera?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes it will. Check Tamron for lens compatibility. Not all functions on all lenses will work but that can be fixed for some by buying and using a TAP console to do a lens firmware upgrade (some camera shops will do the upgrade as will Tamron). I some cases you may also need to firmware upgrade the FTZ (see Nikon support).

Q: QuestionDoes this fit my D5200 Nikon and a AF-S Nikkor 55-300mm lens?
Asked by Cameragirl.
- A:Answer No, This is to adapt F mount lenses to Z cameras. Your D5200 should not need any adapter for the lens and will work as long as the lens has a built in focus motor. However if you have a Z series camera, that lens should work with the FTZ adaptor. The only negative would be using a lens without a built in focus motor. You can still use a lens like that, but the Z cameras do not turn the screw drive on the older lenses and you will have to manually focus those older lenses.

Q: QuestionI ordered this for my Z50 now where do I see a list of compatible lenses I can use or do you recommend one for long distances that is affordable??
Asked by frustrated.
- A:Answer The Nikon USA website has a compatibility chart that list the lenses that will work. It only lists Nikon lenses not other brands. Same site also shows all Nikon lenses currently for sale with specs and prices. Affordable can be different for different people. A cheap lens is expensive if you never actually use it.
