No, just steady nerves and the fact that the magnification is only 8x
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure how to answer this, but I was advised by birders to not go to the 10X power, unless you have a very steady hand. I'm close to 60, so I knew that I needed something that could withstand hand shake. So, my old pair, that was stolen, was a Prostaff 3 8X42, and my replacement nocs are the same exact ones!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You're not going to get image stabilization at this price. On BB there are only 2 with it and they are over $1000 bucks. Although for their size they are very light weight which makes them easier to keep steady.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The Nikon Prostaff 3s 8x42 binoculars do not have image stabilization as part of their design. If you are looking for image stabilized binoculars check out the Nikon Stabileyes which eliminate vibration and have fully multi-coated optics for superior performance.
