Energizer 2300maH AA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a question that is based on personal preference and Others may disagree. I selected rechargeable, of course, because I wanted fast recycle time with no memory. I selected this type: Ni-Mh 2000mAh type, 1900mAh min. No memory effect Batteries can be recharged when fully, or partially discharged Recharge up to 2100 times They work well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just use Alkaline batteries. Rechargeable are slower in recharging the flash. No reason to go with any of the more expensive batteries. Alkaline are great for holding their charge over time when you are not using the flash. They are less expensive than the alternatives and, in my opinion, provide greater power and versatility.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine has worked just fine on 'normal' alkaline batteries (like Duracell or Energizer). Never found a connection between the advanced versions of those batteries and extended life, but it didn't make the flash operate any worse either. Some rechargeable batteries weigh slightly less than the single use variety, so if the overall weight of the flash is a problem, you might want to consider using rechargeables (but they won't last as long as the single use units).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've been happy with both Pearstone and Energizer rechargeable batteries.
