Lenses that support autofocus with the Z6 are AF-S, AF-P, and AF-I type lenses. For more information on lens compatibility, please contact Nikon Support.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends what series and how old the lens is... All f-bayonet lenses will connect and work in manual mode but only G lenses will autofocus. Z series bodies do not have focus motors in the camera like traditional DLSR cameras so newer lenses with focus motors in the lenses are required for full compatibility.
