• Strange enough, a cup of coffee is actually 5-6 ounces in the automatic coffee pot world, not the standard 8 liquid ounces to a cup. Most coffee mugs are 10-12 ounces, making it technically 2 cups. Not sure why it has to be so difficult.

• mine fills full to top..its 10cups i can fill 3 travel mugs no prob.. the brewer seals up during brewing so no real 'steam' loss...
