Yes. It is Teflon, or Teflon-like. You have to be care in the utensils you use and in washing it. Only wash by hand.

As far as being harmful at the temperatures that are being used for cooking you should be fine. It's when it gets to very high temperatures it will release a toxic gas that is very harmful to pet birds. Like I said the temperatures that are being used for cooking you shouldn't have any troubles.
