• No. It brews the water through the coffee filter. So unless that's super clean, it should taste like coffee.

• Yes, there instructions for dozens of drinks. Or you can follow instructions for powdered cocoa measured into your cup or instant cocoa mixes in the cup. Using microwave to heat the milk and froth it with sugar for 45-50 sec then run the hot water.

• Hi Wilson, This is a good question! The Ninja Coffee Bar unit (model# CF111) does not make hot chocolate unfortunately. That would have been the best! Thank you Kind Regards, Customer Service Team
