QuestionWhat happens when there is not enough water in the reservoir to make a full pot when you chose that setting? Ours made only a small amount of coffee and beeped too soon on the next batch.

QuestionHow do you clean the Frother? Also, when you use paper filters, do you put them in the basket, or by themselves?

- Answer If using paper filters, you don't use the reusable filter that comes with it, just put them directly in the basket. Our frother just broke while hand washing it. A little screw in the bottom holds the whole thing together and it fell off and down the drain. I'd rinse well after each use and make sure the screw is tight before hand washing it.

QuestionHow do you get the thing to work? It shuts off after dripping water for 5 seconds and then won't restart until you press one of the buttons again. This is for model number CF081 Ninja coffee bar.

- Answer If I hadn't read the instructions thoroughly and watched a couple of online videos, I could understand your concern. The Thermal Flavor Extraction is what makes the coffeemaker hesitate during its dripping process so that it can soak and extract all the full flavor from the coffee grounds. This is what makes the coffee flavor so much better than other coffeemakers. Set it and forget it. Just let it do its thing and you will get a delicious cup of coffee every time.

QuestionWe got our Ninja coffee bar preowneed. The warming plate does not heat. The system came with a bunn carafe , does the weight or height of the carafe keep the warming plate from turning on? Is there a button somewhere to turn the heater on?

- Answer My CLN light stays on and I have cleaned it with a de-scaler and vinegar. We have a water filter on our kitchen sink, and I use a filtered water pitcher to refill this one and my Keurig, I NEVER have a problem with the Keurig.

- Answer The water tank does not have a filter space. We use our filtered water to fill it. Also, the instructions say to use filtered water. I guess we all like the filtered water as well. Although, a filter built in the tank does sound like a good idea.

- Answer I think it has a 90 days warranty. I did purchase the extended 2 years warranty just in case. If I were you, I would call the store you purchased it and explain the situation. What’s the worse they can tell you?
