    • Answer Cleaning is easy! Please follow these steps: Step 1: Place the empty carafe beneath the brew basket. Step 2: Fill the water reservoir with 16oz. of white vinegar, then fill the rest of the reservoir with water up to, but not exceeding the full line. Step 3: Place the reservoir on the unit and press the CLEAN button. The display will highlight the full carafe and 60oz (CFP101) or 70oz (CFP105CO). which is the amount that will be brewed. Press the CLEAN button again to confirm and begin the cleaning cycle. Step 4: The clock will display and count down the remaining clean cycle time; the cycle takes approximately 75 minutes (CFP101) or 90 minutes (CFP105CO) to complete. Your brewer will deliver a small amount of cleaning solution to distribute through the system. It will then pause, deliver additional cleaning solution, and repeat this cycle for 75 minutes (CFP101) or 90 minutes (CFP105CO). Step 5: When complete, the brewer will beep and the clock display will show END. The Intelligent Clean Cycle Indicator will turn off. Step 6: Empty the contents of the carafe and place it back under the brew basket. Clean the water reservoir with warm, soapy water to remove any cleaning solution that could affect the flavor of your coffee. Step 7: Fill the water reservoir to the full line with fresh water. Step 8: Flush the system by running a full carafe Classic water-only brew. After the cycle is complete, discard the water and thoroughly clean the carafe and brew basket.

  • QuestionDoes this coffee maker use special filters? Where’s the best place to purchase these?

    • Answer It uses the #4 disposable paper filters and I have been told not just any reusable permanent filter will work. When in stock, you can purchase a permanent filter on Ninja website. I have seen one on Amazon that claims to be compatible but have not purchased it yet.

  • Questioni just got my new coffee maker, and mine is loud. i wanted to know if this is normal. it sounds like it wants to take off.

    • Answer I can’t say what you think of as loud, but mine makes noise when the water heater kicks in. The brew is not even a 2 minute cycle (much faster and quieter than Keurig). At the end of the brew I think it’s the pump that makes a stuttering noise, but that just tells me one moment til done. If you think the noise is abnormal have BB check it out.

    • Answer This will not automatically shut off, as it has a Delay Brew setting. With this said, when brewing a half or full carafe on Rich or Classic brew, the heater plate will turn on. This will turn off after a period of time.

    • Answer I don't think so. It does have an adapter for Keurig K-Cups, and, you can also use the basket to use ground coffee to make a single cup too. So it is versatile.

    • Answer Nope, any I have don't fit but I'm looking for version that does, or a way to re-engineer mine. Not sure why this was (they did recognize it and make statement in the instructions) but hopefully a new insert will be designed if enough complaints.
