I can’t say what you think of as loud, but mine makes noise when the water heater kicks in. The brew is not even a 2 minute cycle (much faster and quieter than Keurig). At the end of the brew I think it’s the pump that makes a stuttering noise, but that just tells me one moment til done. If you think the noise is abnormal have BB check it out.
